Cotton Silks & Crafts Expo 2019 Inaugurated in Mangalore by Patla Sathish Shetty: Details

October 8: Cotton Silks and Crafts Expo 2019 was inaugurated at Woolands Hotel in Mangalore by founder of Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation Trust  Patla Sathish Shetty.  The expo has been organised by Rajasthan Art & Craft.

Shetty after inaugurating the exhibition said that there is a need to support artisans of our country as the preserve the ancient traction and culture.
Exhibition coordinators Mahaveera and Avil Sharma said that the aim of the exhibition is to provide platform to these artisans from below poverty line  to showcase their talents.
The exhibition is having products of more than 20 states like Gujaraj, Rajastha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and many more. Products are displayed in more than 100 stalls.
The handloom section includes sarees from kanchipuram, mangalgiri orissa cotton, manipuri cotton, bandini and variety of materials. The exhibition also includes kurtas, dress materials, shirts, table covers, cushion covers, blankets, wooden dolls, jewellery, jute bags etc.
The Exhibition is open till October 21 between 10 am to 9 pm.
