Newly Installed Speed Breakers In Mangalore: Are They Posing Threat To Motorists?

February 20: Speed breakers have been installed in majority of Mangalore city roads which recently. These speed breakers are posing a threat to motorists, especially two-wheeler riders, due to the absence of bright of bright white stripes marking them.
The road from Circuit House to Bejai Jail Road and road from lady hill to chilimbi have more than 3 speed breakers and none o then have  white stripes marking on them.
The marking on the speed breakers guide speeding motorists to slow down, before proceeding over them. Motorists put their life at risk as they fail to notice them, especially during night which leads to accidents.
Therefore, it is much required that these newly installed speed breakers
get white strips or better visibility.
