11 victims of Job fraud in Kuwait get back passports: When will they return?

August 3: A total of 34 job fraud victims from Dakshina Kannada were stranded in Kuwait due to job fraud by a local company. Among them, 23 have already returned to their native places with the help of NRIs and efforts of the MLA Vedavyas Kamath.
As the company levied fine on 11 victims, it had refused to cancel their visa and return the passport. With the efforts of the Indian Embassy and NRIs, they could get back their passports on Thursday, August 1. They will now return to their native places on August 4.
