34 youths from Dakshina Kannada stranded in Kuwait likely to return this week

June 19: 34 youth from Dakshina Kannada district who were stranded in Kuwait due to a job fraud will soon return back to  India. The youth were starnded in Kuwait die to a job fraud.  The chances of them returning to India have increased after the shoon office (labour office) in the Gulf country decided to cancel their visas on Monday.
In a meeting which was held on Monday, it was decided that their salaries would also be returned to them. However each person needs Rs 25000 to return back but they are unable to arrange the same, and it is still not decided who will pay for their tickets.
The visa cancellation of the youths will be done within two working days. Even though the recruiting agency Manikya associates and political representatives have assured to help, there is no clarity on this.
