60 Kg of Beef Seized: Three held for cow slaughter
July 22: The Poonjalkatte police have seized 60 kg of beef and arrested three persons in connection with cow slaughtering. The arrested have been identified as Abdul Razak, Razik and Riyaz. Police said that the trio had stolen the cattle and had slaughtered it at Manjal Palke in Kukkala in Belthangady taluk.
Along with the beef, police have also seized autorickshaw and weapons used for slaughtering. The total value of the seized articles is Rs 1.22 lakh.
