Replacement Of Rubber Cone Installed At Junctions: Decision Taken
September 24: The Police Department has decided to replace the rubber cones already installed at various junctions in the city in order to control smooth traffic and vehicular movement. Rubber cones have already been installed at various junctions and bus bays in the city to prevent cross-border traffic. Most of the cones were torn apart by the wheels of the buses.
Police have filed a case against a bus driver of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation for causing damage to the rubber cones that were installed on the road. Also, a few days ago, a similar action was taken against three Karnataka transport buses and two private bus operators who hit the cones near the city’s Jyoti junction.
Some time ago all damaged cones were where new cones will be inserted again. Until then, the line will be installed in bus bays as a precautionary measure.
