Fine For Not Wearing Mask In Public Changed Again: Click To Know

October 9: Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra said that wearing masks in all the public places and workplaces in the district is mandatory.
The DC mentioned that those who do not wear masks will be fined Rs 250 in the corporation limits and Rs 100 in other places in the district.
The violators will be booked violators under Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Ordinance 2020 Section 2(3), 6(1)(2) and Section 57 of the Disaster Management Act 2005.
MCC officials have been strictly enforcing the orders.
