DK District Administration Plans To Record All Information on Interstate Travellers: This Is The Reason
December 25: The district administration of Dakshina Kannada district is planning to collect database of interstate travellers, especially those commuting between Kerala and Mangalore for work everyday. This is a part of the efforts to tackle the pandemic.
DK District DC KV Rajendra said that all employers who have staff from Kasaragod are asked to submit the details to local authorities. Apart from that ASHA and anganwadi workers and Mangalore City employees will collect the data. The district administration is planning to create the database in the next 15 days.
DC also mentioned that free testing will be arranged for interstate commuters at the district Wenlock Hospital.
