Surathkal Beach to Remain Closed After 6 PM: Click to Know Why

January 8: Mangalore city police commissioner Shashi Kumar has ordered the closing of Surathkal Beach after 6pm to control the consumption and distribution of marijuana and other narcotic substances.
A verbal order has been sent to the manger of the beach to ensure that nobody enters the beach after 6pm. This order bars people from staying late at the beach.
Sources informed that police vehicles were patrolling the beach area and were sending people back from the place.
