Theatres/Auditoriums in DK Allowed to Operate at Full Capacity

Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra said that the district administration has given a green signal for theatres, multiplexes and auditoriums to operate at their full capacity. The order has been issued following a decline in Covid positivity rate in the district. Though the government had allowed districts with less than 1% positivity rate to operate to their full capacity from October 1, the district administration as a preventive measure had not allowed this in the district. Covid positivity rate in Dakshina Kannada is presently 0.46 and the DC’s latest order says those who are fully vaccinated will be allowed at theatres and that all Covid guidelines will have to be adhered to.
