Yellow Alert Issued in Several Places Including Dakshina Kannada: Heavy Rainfall Expected For Two Days

The India Meteorological Department has informed that heavy rain together with thunder is likely in the state during the next two days. Yellow alert has been announced at Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belagavi, Gadag, Bengaluru, Haveri, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru,  Dharwad, Ballari, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Chikkaballapura, Kolar and Ramanagara districts.

Atmosphere conducive to rain has been created at the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Therefore, the India Meteorological department has stated that rain is likely to lash for the next two days
