Canara Educational Institutions Observe Founder’s Day: Grand Celebration Held at Canara School

Canara Group of Institutions administered by the Canara High School Association observed Founder’s Day, birth anniversary of its visionary founder Sri Ammembal Subbarao Pai on 19th November 2022.

Sri S Jaykumar, General Manager & Circle Head, of Canara Bank, Circle Office, Mangalore graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The office bearers and members of Canara High School Association and A S R Pai Memorial Fund were present on the occasion. The guests were escorted to the dias with the school band of Canara High School, CBSE. The program commenced with the prayer followed by the welcome address by Ms Vaaruni Suresh of Canara High School CBSE. The Canara Flag was hoisted and the flag song acclaiming the glory of Canara institutions was sung by the students of Canara English Lower Primary. The dignitaries garlanded the bust of Sri Ammembal Subbarao Pai and offered floral tribute to the founder.

The Chief Guest Sri S Jaykumar, in his address, advised the students to have a goal and work hard to achieve the same. Master Samarth Agadi of Canara High School (Main) acquainted the gathering with the importance of the day. Canarites, who have made notable achievements in academics and who showed all round performance were rewarded in recognition of their accomplishments.

The program which was witnessed by over (2000) students of Canara schools came to a closure with the National Anthem. Ms Swathi Bhat of Canara English Higher Primary proposed the Vote of Thanks. Ms Manjula and Ms Akshitha compered the program.
