Mangalore International Airport to Recarpet Its Runway: Several Flights Rescheduled For Four Months

Flights operating from Mangalore International Airport have been rescheduled, as the runway will be recarpeted from January 27. Sources from the airlines, some of the flights will leave early in the morning, whereas others will do so in the evening. The work that will start on January 27, will take place from 9.30 am to 6 pm, from Monday to Saturday, on all days, except Sunday, and national holidays, until May 31, 2023. No flights have been cancelled, and all existing flights will be rescheduled.

The Air India-679 Mumbai-MIA flight, which previously left Mumbai at 10.30 am, will now depart at 5.45 am. The flight will depart MIA at 7.55am, and reach Mumbai around 9.40am. Similar arrangements are made with other flights that operate from MIA. All flights will operate between 6.30 pm and 9.30 am, for the next four months.
