MRPL Wins First Prize For Best Safety Management Among Factories in The Oil Industry: Check Out

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) Aromatics Unit has been awarded first prize among factories in the oil industry for 2023, in recognition of their outstanding disaster mitigation and emergency preparedness. The Department of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety & Health, Govt. of Karnataka presented the award at the National Safety Day Celebrations 2023, held at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Management Academy in Bengaluru on March 4.

Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath, ED (Refinery), B Sudarshan, GGM (Marketing Projects), Kunal Singh Sikarwar, assistant manager (HSE-F&S), and Yogendra Babu, assistant manager (HSE-F&S) from MRPL were present to receive the award. The award was presented by Dr Mahesh Bhalgat, chief operating officer M/s Syngene International Ltd., in the presence of K Srinivas, director of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health and secretary, Karnataka State Safety Institute.
