Coastal Districts to Receive Heavy Rainfall For Next Two Days: Orange Alert Issued

The coastal districts, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada experienced substantial rainfall throughout Saturday & Sunday. The IMD has issued orange alert for these districts untill June 28th.

In light of the weather conditions, the IMD has issued a warning to fishermen, advising them not to venture into the sea from Saturday until June 28. The warning states that squally weather, with wind speeds of 40-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph, is likely along and off the coasts of Karnataka.
