Summer Schedule of Mangalore International Airport to See New Flight to Jeddah
The summer schedule of Mangalore International Airport (MIA) which will start by March end will see new flights to Jeddah, and an increased frequency to Dammam from three to four flights a week. In the domestic sector, the frequency of flights to Chennai will increase, and the Bengaluru sector will replace ATRs. The Mangalore-Jeddah flight will commence operations on April 3.
Another air route Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will see an additional weekly flight. Currently, there are three weekly flights, and the sector will add a fourth flight to the summer schedule. In the domestic sector, Chennai, which had a total of 11 flights a week, will see 14 flights this summer, which is two flights a day. The Mangalore-Bengaluru sector, which is seeing a huge demand, will replace ATRs with A320, A321, and 737 flights. This arrangement is done to accommodate more passengers/. The Pune-Mangalore flight timings will be changed from morning to afternoon.
