‘Anywhere Registration System’ Will be Implemented Across Udupi District From September 2: Click to Know

Udupi district DC Dr K Vidya Kumari has announced that the ‘Anywhere Registration System’ will be implemented in the district starting September 2, 2024. This system will allow residents to register documents at any sub-registrar office within the district, rather than being restricted to the office corresponding to the property’s location. The new system will enable citizens to register documents at the nearest office or choose one with available slots, streamlining the registration process and reducing congestion. This initiative is expected to alleviate staff workload and enhance overall efficiency.

The Anywhere Registration System, which has been successfully operating in Bengaluru since 2011 and recently in Tumakuru and Belagavi, will now be introduced in Udupi. The system aims to increase transparency, reduce delays, and balance the registration workload across all sub-registrar offices in the district, including Udupi, Brahmavar, Kundapur, Shankaranarayana, Byndoor, and Karkala.”
