The Supply of Nandini Ghee Increases at TTD: Read to Know More

The recent controversy over the laddu prasad given to devotees at TTD has led to an increase in demand for Nandini Ghee produced by Karnataka Milk Federation. The KMF has already supplied Nandini ghee to the TTD and has now placed an order for three additional tankers.

Years ago, KMF supplied ghee to the temple to make laddus. Later, with a change in leadership in the temple committee, the order was cancelled, and tenders were called. KMF did not supply ghee as the company could not match the lowest quoted price.

To ensure quality control and prevent any further accusations regarding the ghee’s integrity, KMF is implementing new measures, including GPS tracking on all vehicles transporting ghee to Tirupati. This system will feature a GPS scanner lock on the trucks. The lock can only be opened at TTD premises using a password. Once the QR code on the tanker is scanned, an OTP will be sent to KMF officials, and the lock can only be released with their authorisation.
