Travelling Bangalore – Mangalore on Ganesh Chaturthi? Flight is cheaper than Buses! Check out

August 2: Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated on September 2, Monday and many Mangaloreans working in Bangalore would be travelling to their native to celebrate the grand festival with their family.
Most of the celebration happens at their ancestral house and it is a gala moment as the whole family including elders, cousins and children get together.
Since it is a long weekend Mangaloreans are planning to travel from Bangalore on August 30, Friday. The Bus travelling from Bangalore to Mangalore have tripled their prices on August 30th. While most of them are complaining about this rise in the bus fare, many are planning to travel by flight as it is cheaper and takes just an hour to reach Namma Kudla.
