Sudden Transfer of Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil: Mangaloreans suspect this to be the reason

August 5: Mangaloreans are sad over the sudden transfer of Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil, who is now posted as DIG and joint commissioner of police, crimes, Bangalore city.
Citizens of Mangalore expressed their displeasure over the transfer as Mangalore city was getting better as far as its crime record was concerned under Commisioner Patil.
Few Magaloreans have expressed their suspicion over the transfer of Sandeep Patil who was investigating the death case of Café Coffee Day founder V G Siddhartha.
Former minister and Mangalore MLA U T Khader said that he has written a letter to chief minister B S Yediyurappa urging the government not to transfer honest officers from the police department. He blamed the government for transferring city police commissioner Sandeep Patil, when the investigation into Café Coffee Day founder V G Siddhartha’s death is going on.
