These Riders From Mangalore Complete 300-km Distance Within 20 Hours: Know More

November 18: A professional association of cyclists,  As We R Cycling (WeRC) launched its first BRM (Brevet de Randonneurs Mondiaux) for 2019-20 for a 300-km distance.
Nine riders from Mangalore started the 300-km journey from Mangalore towards the Agumbe Ghat and then descending towards the scenic Maravanthe before riding back to Mangalore within 20 hours. The nine riders received the Randonneur badge.

The event was flagged off by Walter D’Souza which included 11 riders from the Taj Cycle company Kankanady Bypass which will pass through Pumpwell circle – Nanthur Junction – KPT Junction – Bajpe – Kinnigoli – Moorukaveri – Padubidri – Karkala – Hiriyadka Road – Agumbe – Hemmadi and finally culminating at Kankanady Bypass.
The riders who participated are Jossie Mendonca, 62, from the USA, 60-year-old Joseph Pereira, Harivijay Kudva, the youngest of all, Gururaju Patil, Rajesh Nayak, Naveen Kotian, Mohibb Hussain, Koushik Boloor, Nithin Mohan, Shyamprasad Nayak, Sarvesha Samaga.
