Digital Tax Collection Centre for MCC launched at ICICI Bank, Mangalore

ICICI Bank in association with Mangalore city Corporation inaugurated the digital tax collection centre on Wednesday. The new centre has been set up at bank’s extension counter at MCC ward office, Valencia. Now tax payers can pay 23 types of taxes using digital modes of credit and debit card, cash cheque and demand draft. This has been done to facilitate digital payment of corporation taxes for Mangaloreans.
ICICI Bank is the first bank in Karnataka to offer digital mode of tax payment. Here tax payment can be done through debit and credit card along with traditional payment modes. The taxes include property tax, water cess and trade license & others.
This has provided convenience to the tax payers with a one-stop solution to generate e-challans and pay taxes directly to MCC on spot.
