Coronavirus: Screening Done At Mangalore Port & Airport To Detect Infected Passengers If Any

February 5: With the view to prevent the spreading of coronavirus infection in Mangalore, the department of health at Mangalore International Airport (MIA), has set up screening and testing counters for international passengers. New Mangalore Port is also undertaking screening the crew of cargo ships and passengers of cruise vessel.
Central government’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been received from the central government for screening of international passengers.
Besides screening, passengers were also made aware about the coronavirus and the precautionary steps to be taken.
