T-shirts with pictures of political leaders seized.

Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil said that about 20 T-shirts with pictures of political leaders have been seized while few cloth merchants were illegally selling them.
Political campaign without permission is an offence as per RP Act Section 171 (h). Approval has to be been taken from the candidate to carry out such campaign. Any such activity will be included in the expenditure of the candidate.
Legal action will be initiated against those who are engaged in publicity without prior permission from the candidate.
