AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences Enters Limca Book of Records For This Amazing Work

A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, NITTE, (Deemed to be University) has entered the Limca Book of Records 2020–2022 for ‘Maximum Number of Complete Dentures Prepared and Delivered in a Single Day’. An event called “Gift a Smile” was held at Coimbatore, where 149 completely edentulous needy patients with no teeth were treated and were given Complete Dentures (full teeth set) in a Single Day free of cost. A Team of 248 members consisting of 53 Doctors, 160 Interns along with 35 technicians, Para medicals and electricians participated in the event. Prof. (Dr.) U.S. Krishna Nayak, Principal & Dean along with Prof.(Dr.) N. Sridhar Shetty, Founder Dean of A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences also attended the event. The camp was headed by Prof.(Dr.) Chethan Hegde, Head, Department of Prosthodontics, A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences. A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences also offers all types dental treatment including specialized treatment like Orthodontics, Root Canal Treatment, Crowns and Bridges etc are done entirely free cost at A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences and Rural Satellite Centre run by the Institution.
