After St Agnes, Another School in Mangalore Decides to Ring Water Bell

November 19: St Agnes Kannada Medium School is the first school in Mangalore that the system of ringing water bell in schools at regular intervals. Dr. C B Vedamurthy, superintendent of police, Raichur, sponsored 230 water bottles to the students.
Now, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Bokkapatna, too has decided to ring the water bell from Tuesday, November 19. Bokkapatna government school has decided to ring the water bell even before the government could formally launch the programme.
Trustee of Vikas Group of Institutions, J Koragappa, has sponsored the water bottles which have been distributed to the students.
Shalini A, headmistress in-charge said that even though the students drink water regularly, the water bell will ensure that all the students drink water compulsorily. She mentioned that the water bell will ring at 11.05 am, 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm everyday.
