Airfares From Gulf Countries to Mangalore Rise Drastically Due to Ramzan & Easter Season

As Ramzan and Easter are being observed this month, airfares from Gulf countries to Mangalore have seen a significant surge. The fare of a one-way nonstop flight from Dubai to Mangalore in the first week of April has reached as high as Rs 70,000. Similar increase in airfare has been observed from other Gulf countries to Mangalore whereas a usual round trip flight from Mangalore to Dubai is around Rs 30,000. The high fare trend is likely to continue until May.

Details on airline websites show that one-way direct flight ticket prices to Mangalore International Airport during the first week of April are as follows: Rs 51,000 from Dammam, Rs 70,000 from Dubai, Rs 45,000 from Abu Dhabi, and Rs 53,000 from Doha.

Flight tickets to Bengaluru airport from the Gulf countries are more affordable. A direct flight from Dubai to Bengaluru costs about half the price of a flight to Mangalore.
