Airlines have Reduced the Flight Charges to Bangalore: Know What Happened

August 29: The airlines had hiked the flight charges between Mangalore to Bangalore since the road and rail connectivity was lost due to landslides at several ares following heavy rains. Landslides on Charmadi and Shiradi routes, had cut off both road and rail connectivity to Bangalore and other neighbouring districts. During the crisis period, the fares had gone upto Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.
Now since the road and train services from Mangalore are being restored,  airlines operating from Mangalore International Airport have reduced the airfares. The airfares to Bangalore are now below Rs 2,000 one-way and Rs 4000 during the holiday period due to festivities from September 1 to 4.
