All Street Food Vendors In Mangalore To Be Closed From Sunday, March 15

March 14: State Government has banned all shopping malls, pubs, large gatherings, summer camps for a week as a precautionary measure against coronavirus.
Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) administration has also taken measures  to prevent gathering of people at one place. With regards to this, MCC commissioner Ajith Kumar Hegde has ordered the closure of all footpath food vendors from Sunday, March 15.
Hegde warned that warned that officials of the City Corporation will be conducting raids and vacating street side eateries from Monday if they do not close down voluntarily and if orders are not followed, the vehicles and trolleys will be towed from March 16.
