Amulya Leona’s Name Removed From Invitation For A CAA Protest In Mangalore: Good Move

February 22: Muslim Aikyatha Vedike, has planned to organise a protest against CAA, NRC and NPR in the Mangalore at Tipu Sultan Garden in Kudroli in the city on February 25, Tuesday. The organisers have now reprinted the invitation by removing the name of teenage student-activist Amulya Leona Noronha after she made pro-Pakistan slogans in Bangalore.
Initially, the organisers had printed the invitation brochure including Amulya’s name in the list of keynote speakers. Vedike President K Ashraf, who condemned the incident of shouting pro-Pakistan slogans and said that India should remain united and there will be no place for those who shout pro-Pakistan slogans in the programme. Thus
we reprinted the invitations by removing name of Amulya, he added.
