An Outreach Programme Was Held by Mangalore Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
Outreach Programme as held by Mangalore Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The Mangalore Branch had an extensive outreach programme on December 26th in the presence of the Board of Studies Chairman of ICAI, CA. (Dr.) Rajkumar Adukia & Co-opted Member, CA. (Dr.) M. S. Jadhav.
The Hon’ble Commissioner of Police, Mangalore City, CA. Anupam Agarwal was met & an interactive meeting took place. The Commissioner recollected how the CA course has shaped him & even now comes in handy in discharge of his duties. He further stressed that Forensic audit can be a major professional opportunity for the Members having experienced crimes done in this area. He was felicitated on the occasion for being a proud Member of the CA fraternity.
During the day, students of Srinivas University, Mukka too were addressed by the Board of Studies Chairman on how to excel in life & also on exam preparations. More than 180 students were part of this session. Further, an interactive meeting with the faculties of Srinivas University too took place in their Campus & how better teaching can be enhanced was deliberated upon.
The delegation led by the Board of Studies Chairman & Mangalore Branch Chairman CA. Gautham Pai D. also met & had an interactive meet with the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University, Prof. P. L. Dharma at his office & how two renowned institutions can come together for the betterment of students fraternity, engaging faculty development programmes & possibility of entering into MoU was discussed.
