Another Special Train on Mangalore – Bangalore Route Sanctioned For Deepavali Festival: Check Out
The South Western Railway has sanctioned a special train on the Mangalore – Bangalore route for Deepavali festival on November 3. The Yeshwantpur – Mangaluru (06565) special train will leave from Yeshwantpur at 11.50pm on Oct 30 and reach Mangaluru at 11.45am the next day. Meanwhile, the Mangaluru – Yeshwantpur (06566) special train will leave from Mangalore at 1pm on Oct 31 and reach Yeshwantpur at 9.15pm the same day. The Hubballi – Mangalore train will reach Mangalore at 11.45am on Nov 3. The train will leave Mangalore at 1pm on November 3 as a special train and reach Yeshwantpur at 10pm the same day.
Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta announced that that SWR responded quickly to the demand made by him by sanctioning a train from Mangalore to Bangalore. The MP said that many people from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have been facing difficulties since the bus fares increased drastically due to the festival season.
