Any Place in Mangalore With More Than 5 Covid Positive Cases to be Declared as Containment Zone

February 18: The deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district Dr KV Rajendra said that any establishments in the city like Hostels, hotel, homestay, resorts, malls, educational institutions will be considered as containment zones if there are more than five cases reported.
DC mentioned that the establishments have to ensure that the coronavirus protocols are being followed by the students and staff of the concerned organization. A special team has been formed to keep an eye on violations and in case of any violations are reported, strict action will be taken as per the Epidemic Diseases Act, Dc mentioned.
