Army Recruitment Rally to be Held in Udupi From March 17 Onwards

February 2: Udupi District deputy commissioner Jagadeesha, stated that army recruitment rally will be held from March 17. The rally will be held at Mahatma Gandhi district stadium here for the candidates from Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Davanagere, Gadag, Haveri, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga districts who have filed online applications to join the Indian Army.
About 38,500 candidates are expected to participate in the rally. The DC instructed the deputy director of public instruction, N H Nagur, to depute suitable staff to check educational qualification certificates of the candidates.
