As Many As 31 Stolen/Lost Mobile Phones Recovered & Handed Over to Rightful Owners By Mangalore Police

As many as 31 mobile phones that were either stolen or lost were returned to their rightful owners at a function held at the City Police Commissionerate on March 16, Thursday.

Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain said the stolen/lost phones through Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) which facilitated in tracing  the phones. Details of 400 such phones were uploaded on the CEIR out of which 124 phones were traced. The Department managed to recover 39 phones and of them 31 were handed over to the owners.
