Most of the lakes in just two years have changed its shape. The neighborhood people around the lake are glad and happy about the change MLA Kamath has bought. The initiative was taken up in such a manner where it also has good surroundings around it. Mangalore South MLA Vedavyas Kamath said that eight lakes in the city will be developed by Mangalore Urban Development Authority(MUDA). MLA Kamath said that seven lakes in the limits of Mangalore South constituency will be developed at a total cost of Rs 3.65 crore and the work on Bairadi lake has already been taken up separately by MUDA which will be carried out at a cost of Rs 1.30 crore. MLA Kamath has been posting the BEFORE and AFTER pictures along with the amount spent on it which is inviting appreciations across for the transparency which was not shown by any elected representatives in the past.
