Banks in Dakshina Kannada & Udupi To Organise a Customer Outreach Programme

October 4: Banks in Dakshina Kannada district under leadership of Syndicate Bank will organise customer outreach programme. The programme will be held on October 5 and 6 at Town Hall in the city. hIn Mangalore the programme will be inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh on Oct 5 at 10 am and Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr R Selvamani will also be present. In Udupi district, customer outreach programme will be organised at Golden Jubilee Hall in Manipal.
In the outreach programme, all the public sector banks, private sector banks, NBFCs HFCs MFIs, SIDBI and NABARD operating in the district will participate in order to reach out to the customers. Wide spectrum of financial and non-financial services including opening of accounts will be providedas well as highlight the government’s financial inclusion schemes. The programme will facilitate people to gain greater access to credit, particularly retail, agriculture and to the MSME egments and financial assistance under Mudra and Stand Up India.
