Beaches in Mangalore Will Soon be Accessible For Visitors During The Night: What’s Your View on This?

Beaches in Mangalore will soon be accessible for visitors during the night as well. The Dakshina Kannada district administration has initiated preparations by installing essential facilities including streetlights, surveillance systems, and positioning lifeguards to ensure safety.

Deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan MP said that Panambur beach will be the first to welcome night tourists, followed by Tannirbhavi Blue Flag beach and Tannirbhavi beach. Although initially planned for a year-end opening, the launch of Panambur beach was delayed. However, it is expected to welcome visitors within a fortnight, after implementing necessary security measures.

City police commissioner Anupam Agarwal has expressed support for night-time access to beaches provided adequate safety measures are in place.
