Beware: Fraudster Poses as Mangalore Commissioner Anupam Agarwal & Asks For Money Via Whatsapp

An attempt has been made to cheat people and make money in Mangalore. A fraudster poses as Mangalore police commissioner Anupam Agarwal and asks money via whatsapp. The perpetrator has used the commissioner’s photo as whatsapp profile picture and has sent messages to various people including fellow police officers to transfer money with a promiser to return the same soon.

Mangalore Police commissioner has warned the public not to fall for the scam and beware of such fraudsters.
