Book Released On Tulunad Daivaraja Babbuswamy (Kordabbu): Here Are The Details

February 5: A book on Sri Babbuswamy (Kordabbu) daiva of Tulunad titled  ‘Daivaraja Babbuswamiya Aitihasika Sthalagalu’ has been released. The book is authored by Navin Suvarna Padre and published by Sri Babbuswamy Adhyayana Kendra Prakashana.
The author, with the help of the members of Sri Babbuswamy Adhyayana Kendra, has also conducted a survey work from Badagu Barkuru to Tenku Neeleshwara
Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy Chairman Dayananda G Kattalsar said that the book contains comprehensive information on Sri Babbuswamy (Kordabbu) daiva of Tulunad and the related places of worship. He mentioned that Author Navin Padre lamented that the historic evidence related to Kordabbu daiva is being lost in the coastal regions and it is the duty of the people of Tulunad to preserve them. The government should also take initiatives in this regard, he stressed.
