Bus Service Between Mangalore & Kasargod to Remain Suspended for a Week More

Inter-state bus service between Mangalore and Kasargod will remain suspended for one more week in the wake of a rise in Covid-19 cases in Kasargod district. Dakshina Kannada district in charge minister Kota Shrinivas Poojary said that bus services between Dakshina Kannada and Kerala should not commence in the next one week as it will be difficult to keep a tab on all passengers travelling on this route. However, decision to restart the bus services after observing the daily positivity rate of Kasaragod district for the next one week. Though, the buses started plying across the state from July 5, KSRTC buses on Mangalore – Kasaragod route end trips at the border in Talapady.
