Bus Services Between Kasargod & Mangalore To Continue to Till Further Notice

The Dakshina Kannada district administration will intensify screening and testing of travellers from Kerala to the district in view of the enhanced COVID-19 threat as Kerala reports about 8% test positivity rate and hence there was a need to enhance surveillance in the border areas.

DK Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra said that even as rigorous screening of passengers at the Dakshina Kannada – Kerala borders has commenced the recently resumed bus services between Kasargod and Mangalore will continue. The DC mentioned that as of now bus services will be as usual between the two states but all passengers must have a negative RT-PCR test report before boarding the bus.
