Buses May Soon Start Plying In These Routes In Udupi District: Click To Know

May 7: Udupi district Deputy commissioner Jagadeesha held a meeting with the KSRTC officials and private bus owners regarding the functioning of buses in selected routes. As there is a provision to allow public transport in green zones, the DC asked the concerned to conduct a survey and submit a report on the same. The DC also KSRTC officials to select routes on which KSRTC buses may start to operate.
The DC mentioned that only 50 percent of passenger capacity can be accommodated in each bus to maintain social distance.
