CB Ryshyanth Is The New In-charge SP of Dakshina Kannada District Replacing Dr Vikram Amate.

C B Ryshyanth has been appointed as the in-charge superintendent of police (SP) of Dakshina Kannada replacing Dr Vikram Amate. Due to health issues, Dr Vikram Amate is on leave and hence an order was issued to Ryshyanth to take charge as in-charge SP of the district.

Ryshyanth was serving as the SP was Davanagere. He was transferred to Bangalore ahead of the state Assembly elections.

A 2013 batch IPS officer, Ryshyanth hails from Bengaluru. He has served as the ASP of Dakshina Kannada, and SP of Davanagere, Bagalkote and Mysuru.
