Check Posts at Three Main Entry Points Connecting DK District & Kerala Planned: DC Rajendra

February 17: The state health department has instructed to ensure that people visiting the state from Kerala on a daily basis need to compulsorily have coronavirus negative test certificates (RT-PCR). In accordance with this, the Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V. stated that the administration has planned to set up check posts at three main entry points in the district connecting Kerala where rapid antigen tests are will be performed.
The DC mentioned that all people coming to hostels, resorts, hostels, home stay and any other places in Dakshina Kannada district have to be in possession of RT-PCR test negative certificates which should be shown at the check posts. The tests repost should be not more than 72 hours old.
