Checkposts Set up at Talapady: Screening to Check Nipah Virus Done on Vehicles Arriving From Kerala
Comprehensive screening of vehicles arriving from three districts in Kerala was carried out at the Talapady checkpoint on the Kerala-Karnataka borderin ordet to check the spread of Nipah Virus.
A dedicated team, led by health officers and ASHA workers did temperature checks for passengers from 60 vehicles with KL 9, KL 10, KL 11, Kozhikode, and Calicut were subjected to thorough thermal scanning.
