Complaints Against Autorickshaw Drivers For Collecting Excessive Fares: Mangalore Police Take Action

The Mangalore city police have registered cases against as many as 16 autorickshaw drivers for charging excessive fares from passengers. The action came after receiving several complaints from general public.

The police officials dressed in civil clothes had boarded many autorickshaws on Saturday night and succeeded in trapping drivers who charged excessive fares. City Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain said the police would continue with the operation in the days to come.
