Complaints pour in at Weekly Phone-In programme: Check out the issues

  • July 6: A weekly phone-in programme organised at commissioners office on Friday, July 5. City Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil during the phone-in programme mentioned that action will be taken against the violators of law. DCP (Crime and Traffic) Lakshmi Ganesh and ACP
    M Manjunath Shetty were present during the programme.
  • A citizen mentioned that vehicles with tinted glasses are moving freely in and around the city.
  • A person said that schoolchildren are being ferried in excess in school vans and autorikshaws.
  • A caller complained that some people claiming to be salespersons are misbehaving with the ladies.
  • A caller said road humps should be constructed on Ashoknagar-Shediguri road.
  • Owners of vehicles are park their vehicles illegally on the jail road.
  • A resident of Bejai mentioned that a bar near KSRTC bus stand opens at early morning, against the rules.
    Responding to these complaints, Commissioner Patil stated that action will be initiated against all who are involved in these violations as soon as possible.
