Confusion Regarding E-Pass – Residents Of Kasargod Forced To Return Back

June 5: District administration of both Dakshina Kannada & Kasargod districts have decided to issue E-pass to daily commuters between the two districts for free movement.
Residents of Mangalore travelled to Kasargod and reported at their workplace after obtaining e-pass from Kasargod district administration but residents of Kasargod were forced to return to Kasargod from Talapady check post without the e-pass.
As a result of intense lobbying, the district administration finally relented and agreed to issue e-passes to those regularly commuting from their home in Kasargod to their workplaces inn Mangalore.
