Construction Work of Much Awaited Multi Level Car Parking at Hampakatta To Begin Soon

September 24: The construction for the much-awaited multi-level car parking at Hampankatta to begin soon as the Mangalore Smart City Limited (MSCL) commits a deal with all the 22 private land owners who own a portion of the proposed land  for the project.
The project has been finalized to be built at be built on a 2.01 acre land identified at the old bus stand premises in Hampankatta. The total land is 2.01 acres, out of which 1.55 acres belong to the MCC and 46 cents are owned by 22 private individuals.
MCC will soon enter into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with private land owners regarding the implementation of the project. The project to construct the multi-level parking is estimated cost of Rs 94 crore through the Smart City mission and comprises commercial complex and other facilities.
